Introduction to Tantalizing Smoothies and  Elixirs

These delicious elixirs can be adjusted according to your own palate. Personally I love chocolate, so that tends to be my bias. I am also fond of liquorice, so my base (before 4pm) tends to be a liquorice tea; later in the day I use an alternative such as Holy Basil tea.
You can drink these elixirs with or after meals, or instead of a meal. Unless you have a marked problem with low blood sugar (and I recommend that you address this by working with someone on a blood sugar balancing program, as it is often linked to swings in blood sugar), I recommend that you space your meals carefully and only eat between meals if you are ravenous.
