“Many people get bogged down with over -zealous resolutions which they ultimately ditch…”
It’s a New Year and you probably have made the traditional New Years Resolutions that many people do.
Lets hold it right there… have you ever made a resolution that actually panned out? Or did you over commit to so many radical changes that you became so overwhelmed that you felt you needed to leave behind what started out as such good intentions?
You aren’t alone! Many people get bogged down with over -zealous resolutions which they ultimately ditch. The popular choice is to jump on the bandwagon, however January 1st doesn’t mean its time to drink wheat grass and run 12 miles every morning! Yes, intentions for positive changes are good, but why not keep it simple? Why not ditch the resolutions and commit to wellness?
How? Start small. First, aim to hydrate your body with at minimum, 8 glasses of water a day. Second, make a commitment to move more, walk or light jogging for 20 minutes at least 4 days per week. Third, make appointments to see your doctor with any outstanding health concerns. Lastly, and most importantly, remember you are human. Strive for progress, not perfection!
